In each room

What each room is like

Each room has its own teachers, its own turn in the yard and its own rhythm. Every room runs on the same hours.

  • 6 weeks to 12 months

    Infants

Their own crib, a mat on the floor and a rocking chair. We feed and rest each baby on the schedule you give us.

    • We provide cribs, mats and a rocking chair

    • You bring milk or formula and a change of clothes

  • 12 to 24 months

    Toddlers

Low shelves and floor play, songs, and a first taste of the yard. Meals move from the bottle to the table.

    • We provide meals, snacks and sheets for rest

    • You bring a change of clothes and a comfort toy

  • 2 to 3 years

    Twos

A play kitchen, blocks and the first art table. Children learn the day's rhythm and start to help set the table.

    • We provide meals, snacks and art materials

    • You bring two changes of clothes

  • 3 to 4 years

    Threes

Circle time with songs and stories, paint at the easel and a reading corner of their own.

    • We provide meals, snacks and art materials

    • You bring a change of clothes and a rest-time blanket

  • 4 to 5 years

    Fours

The pre-K room: longer projects, walking trips around the neighborhood and a story at the end of every day.

    • We provide meals, snacks and project materials

    • You bring a change of clothes and a rest-time blanket

Brothers and sisters

Before and after school, for enrolled families

If a child in your family is already in one of our rooms, a brother or sister in school can come before and after the school day when there is room. We walk the children to the bus line in the morning and meet it in the afternoon.

It isn't a separate program, so ask about it at the tour.
