Family policies

Photos of your child

We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.

When to keep your child home

Keep your child home with a fever, vomiting, loose stools or a rash you can't explain, and send them back after a full day without symptoms. If your child feels unwell here, Grayce calls you at once and your child rests with a teacher until you arrive.

Drop-off and pickup

Teachers hand each child to a person on your pickup list, which you write when you enroll. We ask anyone we don't know for a photo ID, and we call you before we release a child to a name that isn't on the list.

Late pickup

If you're running late, call the front desk. A pickup after closing time is talked through with Lavina in person, and the rule is on the page you sign when you enroll.

Meals, snacks and allergies

Breakfast, lunch and two snacks are made in our kitchen, and the week's menu is on the door of each room. Tell us about any allergy at the tour, and we ask again, privately, once you enroll. Families of infants bring the milk or formula.

Naps and safe sleep

Infants sleep on their backs, in their own cribs, with nothing else in the crib. Toddlers and older children rest on cots, at the time each one needs.

Closures for weather and holidays

We close for the holidays we give you in writing when you enroll, and for the week of Independence Day. If weather or anything else closes us, we text every family before the doors open.

Leaving the program

We ask for two weeks' notice, in writing or in person, before your child leaves.
